Lindsay Carter, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in payroll and event management. Currently serving as a Human Resources Generalist and Payroll and Benefits Administrator at Apex Benefits since October 2020, Lindsay previously held the position of Payroll Manager at JW Marriott Indianapolis from December 2010 to August 2020, managing payroll for over 600 associates. Lindsay's career also includes roles as an Event Operations Coordinator at JW Marriott, where responsibilities included payroll processing for banquet staff and event coordination, and as a Catering Coordinator at Omni Hotels, focusing on event planning and client relations. Lindsay began a career in hospitality as a Front Office Supervisor/Rooms Controller, gaining valuable customer service and operational skills. Lindsay holds a degree in Geography with a focus on Travel and Tourism, along with minors in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Ball State University.
