Albert Jongewaard

Albert Jongewaard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public affairs and communications, currently serving as Senior Development Manager at Apex Clean Energy since November 2016. Their previous roles include Senior Public Relations Account Executive at Big Communications, where Albert expanded the agency's public affairs efforts, and Senior Public Relations Account Manager at Direct Communications, where Albert specialized in crisis communications during the BP Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill. Albert also has a strong political background, having served as Campaign Manager for Hilliard for Congress and Finance Director for multiple Democratic campaigns in the Deep South. Albert began their career as a Field Coordinator for U.S. Senator Russ Feingold’s Progressive Patriots Corps. Albert holds a BA in International Relations from Texas Christian University.
