Dennis MacAvaney

Dennis MacAvaney is a skilled professional in solar design with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as a Solar Design Associate at Apex Clean Energy since November 2023, MacAvaney previously worked as a PV Design Engineer at Ecogy Energy from February 2023 to September 2023. MacAvaney spent nearly eight years at All Energy Solar in various roles, including Commercial Designer/Estimator and Senior PV Designer, demonstrating a strong background in photovoltaic system design. Earlier work experiences include sales and stage crew roles, as well as custodial and cooking positions, showcasing a diverse skill set. MacAvaney holds a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, earned between 2009 and 2014.
