Jason Hartman

Jason Hartman has extensive experience in project management and engineering within the energy industry. Jason currently holds the position of Vice President of Project Management at Apex Clean Energy, where they focus on green fuel projects. Prior to this, they spent over a decade at Black Hills Energy, serving as the Director of Power Delivery. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the planning, permitting, engineering, procurement, and construction of various energy projects, including natural gas-fired combined cycles and wind turbine generation. Jason also had overall responsibility for safety, environmental compliance, and financial management for multiple gas turbine generation and wind energy facilities. Before joining Black Hills Energy, they worked at Shaw Group as a Project Engineering Manager and at CH2M Hill as an Engineering Manager.

Jason Hartman obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jason later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Wyoming. Additionally, they hold various certifications as a Professional Engineer (PE) from different state boards.
