Marco Pineda

Marco Pineda has a strong background in operations and management in the renewable energy industry. Marco started their career at Vestas in 2009, where they served as a Lead Technician and SAP Planner, providing technical support and mentoring to the team. Marco also worked as an Energy Control Coordinator/Technician, overseeing electrical safety programs and conducting maintenance tasks.

In 2011, Marco joined BP as a Deputy Facility Manager, responsible for managing asset and O&M services. Marco later took on the role of Facility Manager, where they coordinated activities with scheduling, marketing, and local utilities to ensure efficient facility operation and economic dispatch.

Since 2015, Marco has been with Apex Clean Energy. Marco initially served as the Facility Manager at the Cameron Wind Farm, where they provided on-site supervision and oversight, maintained a strong safety culture, and monitored the performance of maintenance service providers. Marco then transitioned to the role of Regional Operations Manager, responsible for the operation of multiple wind and solar facilities. Recently, they have been serving as the Senior Manager of Fleet Operations, and now the Director of Operations, overseeing the overall operations of the company.

Throughout their career, Marco has demonstrated expertise in operations management, safety compliance, asset supervision, and team leadership in the renewable energy sector.

Marco Pineda obtained their High School Diploma from Freer High School. Marco then went on to attend Texas A&M International University, where they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus in Accounting and Business/Management.
