Matthew Chan

Matthew Chan is an experienced manager in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Energy Assessment and Data Science at Apex Clean Energy since June 2014. In this role, Matthew prepares energy analyses, optimizes project designs, and offers guidance for the development, financing, construction, and operation of utility-scale wind power projects. Additionally, Matthew is a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, with previous roles as a Senior Engineer and Energy Analyst. Prior experience includes a New Product Development Internship at Microaire Surgical Instruments and an Energy Engineer Internship at SilTek, Inc. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Environmental Technology from the University of Virginia.
