Andrew Smith is an experienced technology and digital identity expert, currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Apex Digital Exchange and a Non-Executive Director at FairFix Limited. With a focus on Web3 tokenisation and digital identity, Andrew has held advisory roles at ID Crypt Global Ltd. and was Chair of the Sovrin Steward Council at the Sovrin Foundation. Andrew co-founded and served as CTO of RTGS Limited and ClearBank®, contributing to innovation in financial services and settlement solutions. Previous leadership roles include Managing Director at ABELE Technologies, Tapsley, and CloudZync Ltd., along with consultancy services for major financial institutions. Andrew holds a BSc in Computer Science from Glasgow Caledonian University.
