Apex for Youth
Heather Lee is an experienced community network manager at Apex for Youth, where responsibilities include managing community partnerships and supporting program teams in volunteer recruitment. Previous roles include program coordinator, where Heather managed a significant number of volunteers and coordinated enrichment programs for low-income youth, and serving as a National Service AmeriCorps member with Aspire! Afterschool Learning, where Heather completed over 900 hours of service. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from Clemson University and a study abroad program at the University of Nicosia. Other notable experiences involve leadership positions at Clemson University organizations focused on food insecurity and youth mentoring.

Founded in 1992, Apex for Youth empowers underserved Asian and immigrant youth from low-income families in NYC to unlock their potential and a world of possibility. Through programming focusing on health and well-being, education, and community engagement, our volunteers support and mentor students of all ages to build the next generation of tomorrow’s change makers.
