Karthik Rao

Karthik Rao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Karthik is currently working at Apexon as the Global Head of Strategic Compliance, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Apexon as a Finance Controller from August 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Apexon, Karthik worked at HP as a Senior Financial Analyst for the Europe region from December 2019 to August 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Financial Analyst at DXC Technology in India from March 2017 to December 2019.

Karthik started their career at George P Johnson Experience Marketing as a Finance Manager from October 2015 to March 2017. Karthik began their professional journey at Ishwar and Gopal Chartered Accountants, where they worked as an Article Assistant from August 2012 to September 2015.

Karthik Rao completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2012 to 2015, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India where they earned a degree in Chartered Accountancy with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Then, in 2018 and 2019, they pursued further education at the CFA Institute and obtained a degree as a Chartered Financial Analyst, specializing in Investments and Securities.

In addition to their formal education, Karthik also obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they received the "Robotic Process Automation Fundamentals for Accounting and Finance Professionals Certificate" from AICPA. In the same month, they also earned the "Earners of the Explorer badge" from HP, which demonstrates their knowledge in artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, big data, virtual reality, and cybersecurity.

Furthermore, in December 2019, Karthik obtained two certifications. The first one is the "Foundations of The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0)" from LinkedIn, and the second one is the "Learning Data Analytics" certification, also from LinkedIn.

Additionally, in January 2019, they achieved the "CFA Level I" certification from the CFA Institute. Lastly, in December 2018, Karthik became certified in "GST" (Goods and Services Tax) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
