Mário Duarte

Mário Duarte has extensive work experience in various companies and positions. Mário is currently the Group Head of Advanced Analytics at APGAR since June 2021. Prior to this, Mário held multiple roles at Link Consulting from 1999 to 2021. Mário served as an Executive Committee Member & Business Director from January 2012 to June 2021, and as an Enterprise Architecture Business Director from January 2015 to September 2016. Mário also held the position of Business Intelligence Director, where they successfully managed the business unit and achieved profitability and high EBITDA from 2008 to 2011. Mário also served as the Telcos and Utilities Business Unit Director, overseeing a team of consultants and achieving 100% combined sales growth from 2007 to 2010. Mário was recognized as Oracle SOA top partner in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Mário served as the Managing Director at Link Redglue from December 2018 to December 2019, where they managed the overall business in analytics, big data, and machine learning. During their tenure, they established a machine learning competence center and achieved a 50% annual sales growth. Mário also had a role as a Member of the Board in "Link no Brasil" at Aitec Brasil from January 2013 to December 2015, where they managed IT consulting services and solutions for LATAM and directed sales and projects for various major clients. Earlier in their career, Mário worked at Optimus as a Business Intelligence Leader and Project Manager from February 1998 to February 1999, and at Companhia Portuguesa Radio Marconi, S.A. as a Decision Support Systems, Billing, and Customer Care Specialist and Project Manager from April 1991 to February 1998.

Mário Duarte pursued their education at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where they completed a degree in Software Engineering from 1985 to 1990. Later, they obtained an MBA degree in Management from the same university between 1996 and 1998.
