Aphelion Orbitals
Sihao studies Aerospace Engineering and Physics at MIT. Prior to founding Aphelion Orbitals, Sihao worked at the Aerospace Institute of Xiamen University researching advanced inertial guidance concepts and launch vehicle systems. He has experience in both the consumer and enterprise industry, previously working at AirEPay (Guangzhou) as an electronics engineer and subsequently as a negotiator. He has also previously built and tested liquid propellant rocket engines, nanosatellites, optical systems, and commercial radio communication equipment independently. Outside of the industrial sector, Sihao has active research experience spanning from RF accelerating cavities, particle detectors, to high-speed analog frontends.

Aphelion Orbitals
Aphelion was founded to build a game-changing nanosatellite launch system that allows regular, scheduled orbital access at an unprecedented rate and cost. As the industry matures, high budget missions have given way to miniaturization and rapid turnaround. We develop technologies to provide highly integrated solutions to allow ticket-like spaceaccess and commercialization. No longer will we face the question of how to get there, but rather, what opportunities shall await us in space.
