Vasudevacharya 'Jay' Jayarama

Jay Jayarama began their work experience in 2000 as a Senior Scientist at V.I. Technologies, where they developed and optimized viral assay methods and managed collaborations for in vivo studies. Vasudevacharya 'Jay' then transitioned to a role at IDEXX Laboratories in 2005 as a Research Scientist II, participating in new product development and serving as a member of Technical Review Boards. In 2010, Jay joined Aphios Corporation as a Senior Scientist, focusing on developing viral inactivation methods for blood products and performing purification of marine-based drug compounds. Vasudevacharya 'Jay' later worked at Sekisui Diagnostics, LLC as a Scientist I, before returning to Aphios Corporation in 2018 as a Senior Scientist/Director.

Vasudevacharya 'Jay' Jayarama holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Veterinary Science degree in Veterinary Microbiology, as well as a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree in Veterinary Sciences/Veterinary Clinical Sciences, General, both from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.
