Nikki Marchan

Nikki Marchan, MPH, is a seasoned public health professional with an extensive background in infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist at the Association of Public Health Laboratories since September 2016, Nikki has held multiple roles focusing on infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. Prior experience includes significant contributions as a Senior Laboratory Technician at the Genetics & IVF Institute, where responsibilities included analysis of biological samples and quality control. Additional experience encompasses a practicum at Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital, focusing on injection safety and tuberculosis infection risk, and a laboratory assistant role at the University of Maryland, involving nutritional studies and biohazard material management. Nikki holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Maryland.
