Raya Hudhud possesses a diverse background in public health, environmental sustainability, and humanitarian efforts. Currently serving as a Wastewater Surveillance Intern at the Association of Public Health Laboratories since October 2021, Raya previously contributed as a Green Fellow at the Department of Energy & Environment from November 2019 to October 2020. Earlier experiences include roles such as Environmental Health Intern and Nutrition and WASH Intern at APHL and Save the Children US, respectively. In these positions, Raya mapped trends in innovative interventions, drafted literature reports, and created resources for WASH-related projects. Additionally, internships at Amnesty International USA and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP involved legislative analysis and nonprofit outreach. Raya holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Sustainability, and Arabic from The George Washington University.
