Panagiotis Tsarchopoulos

Panagiotis Tsarchopoulos is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management, research, and education. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Pragma-IoT since April 2023, Panagiotis manages EU-funded research and innovation projects. Since April 2002, Panagiotis has been a Tenured Senior Teaching Fellow at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in Web Journalism, Social Networking Applications, Human-Computer Interaction, and Digital Cities, while conducting research on the role of information technologies in journalism and civic media. Previous roles include Research Associate at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI), Independent Expert for the European Commission, and researcher at URENIO. Panagiotis holds a PhD in Urban Planning and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
