David Cirillo

David Cirillo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources, labor relations, and legal matters. Currently serving as the Director of Staff Relations at West Genesee School District since June 2017, David provides guidance on educational legal matters and acts as a hearing officer. Concurrently, as an Adjunct Professor at The College of Saint Rose, David teaches personnel administration at the master's level, drawing on practical experience in public sector employment. David's impressive military background includes retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army Reserves after over 30 years of service, with significant roles including Executive Officer of the 206th Digital Liaison Detachment. Prior to these roles, David held various positions such as Assistant Director of Personnel and Labor Relations at OCM BOCES and Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Syracuse, specializing in labor relations and negotiations. David holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cooley Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from Buffalo State College, and an education from Hofstra University.
