Arnon Dagan

Arnon Dagan has extensive experience in data science and software development. Arnon is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Apiiro since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at eBay Marketplaces from 2014 to 2023, where they led various projects as part of the structured data research team. At EverythingMe from 2013 to 2014, they were a Data Scientist and developed a contextual engine for the search engine group. Before that, at newBrandAnalytics from 2012 to 2013, they worked as an NLP Algorithms Developer, focusing on text preprocessing and word ontology. Arnon also has experience in software development, having worked at Microsoft from 2009 to 2012 on the development and deployment of the Data Quality Services product. Arnon was an Algorithms Researcher and Developer at Imagine Communications in 2008, where they worked on video streaming algorithms. Prior to that, at Retalix from 2007 to 2008, they focused on demand forecasting and data mining. Arnon began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Comverse from 2004 to 2007, and as a Software Engineer at Tower Semiconductor from 2002 to 2004. Arnon started their professional journey at IBM in 2001 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on designing and developing the MQseries middleware.

Arnon Dagan obtained a BSc degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Haifa from 1998 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it from 2001 to 2004.
