Varun Sanghavi

Varun Sanghavi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment management. Currently serving as Director at Apis Partners since January 2020, Varun focuses on the Financial Services sector across Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Prior to this role, Varun worked as an Investment Professional at Actis from May 2016 to December 2019 and at Kotak Real Estate Private Equity Fund and Kotak Special Opportunities Fund from March 2014 to May 2016. Varun began a career in finance as an Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from August 2011 to February 2014. Varun is also a Chartered Accountant, having completed the Chartered Accountancy program in Finance between 2007 and 2011, and is associated with the CFA Institute in the US.
