Sergi Fernández Cristià has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sergi started their career as a Developer at a videogame enterprise from September 2001 to June 2002. Sergi then worked as a Website Development Teacher at Liceo SXXI for a brief period from September 2002 to October 2002. Sergi also had a self-employed role as a Developer, where they worked on various projects such as website development, examination software, and software for medical works publication from October 2002 to September 2005.
Sergi then joined Net-Translations as an IT Manager from September 2005 to May 2007, where they were responsible for server maintenance and development of the corporate intranet. Sergi later joined NTRglobal as a Software Analyst Developer/Key Expert Team member, working on the development of Rich Internet Applications in .NET and implementation of continuous integration and unit testing mechanisms from May 2007 to June 2010.
From December 2010 to February 2012, Sergi worked as a Software Analyst Developer at Semantix Group, primarily focused on the development of linguistic software in different platforms and environments. Sergi was also involved in technical and architectural decisions and explored new technologies like Android and iOS.
From February 2012 to April 2013, Sergi gained experience as a Senior Developer at EyeOs, contributing to the development of applications and frameworks in the EyeOs platform. Sergi also developed communication mechanisms with a Medical Message system and a TCP server for data transmission.
Sergi then joined Trovit as a Senior Analyst Developer from May 2013 to December 2013. Sergi worked in the webcore team, where their responsibilities included modifying the custom framework and packet manager to be more generic, establishing a continuous integration system, and collaborating with other teams on the adoption of unit testing.
After Trovit, Sergi returned to EyeOs and held two positions simultaneously. From December 2013 to April 2014, they worked as a Senior Developer, and from April 2014 to July 2015, they served as a Scrum Master.
Lastly, Sergi joined Apiumhub in September 2015 and has been serving as a Tech Lead since then.
Sergi Fernández Cristià completed their education in two stages. From 2010 to 2010, they attended Oracle University and obtained a certification as a Java Certified Programmer, specializing in computers. Prior to that, they studied from 1997 to 2000 at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they achieved a degree in Graduat Multimèdia, also in the field of computers.
