Jan Fransens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software R&D management, particularly in the fields of computer vision, image processing, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Project Management Consultant at Apixa since October 2022, Jan has also founded Connected Dots Consultancy, providing consultancy services to enhance R&D teams in high-tech environments. Previous roles include Director of Software Engineering at miDiagnostics and Software Manager at TOMRA Food, among others. Jan possesses a robust academic background with a PhD in Computer Science from Hasselt University and postgraduate studies in Business Administration from Vlerick Business School and KU Leuven.
