Waldo Basilla

Waldo Basilla currently serves as the Chief Operating and Commercial Officer for Asia at APL Logistics, a position held since January 2022, where responsibility includes the development and execution of growth and operating strategies in the region. Previously, Waldo Basilla was the SVP and Chief of Staff at 2GO Group, Inc., overseeing the operational and commercial development of the largest integrated transportation and logistics company in the Philippines from February 2019 to December 2021. Waldo Basilla's extensive career at APL Logistics spans over 13 years in various leadership roles, including Vice President and Head of Retail Vertical for APAC, where strategic development and commercial execution for the retail vertical were fundamental responsibilities. Earlier experience includes managing country operations in Bangladesh and Cambodia and overseeing logistics services in the Philippines. Waldo Basilla holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of the Philippines and a degree in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University, along with a certification in Strategic Management from the National University of Singapore.
