Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a solid background in electronics and firmware development. Since July 2010, Chris has been contributing to SMART Technologies, focusing on hardware and firmware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior to this role, Chris worked as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational electronics, and gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier career experience includes an Electronics Engineer position at Grindcom, where responsibilities included control system development for forestry equipment. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
