Michelle Martin

Michelle Martin has a wealth of experience in the finance sector. Michelle has been working in the industry since 2010. Michelle began their career as a Finance Trainee at DuPont in 2010, then moved on to a Corporate Accountant role at the same company in 2012. In 2015, they joined The Chemours Company as a Plant Cost Accounting Supervisor LATAM, where they were responsible for maintaining general ledgers, month-end close, analysis of the cost of materials at a site level, ensure compliance with internal controls, review account reconciliations, approve journal entries, provide financial analysis to business unit leadership and support business strategies. Michelle then moved on to Airbus Helicopters in 2018, where they held the roles of Head of Finance and Finance Controller. Most recently, they joined Aplazo in 2021 as the Sr. Finance Controller.

Michelle Martin completed their MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from EGADE Business School del Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2021. In 2011, they attended Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences for Accounting and Finance. From 2008 to 2012, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In 2021, they obtained an Advanced Design Thinking certification from Improve Company. Michelle also obtained a Certificación Internacional en Coaching Ejecutivo y Alineación de Equipos de Trabajo (ICT) certification from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2021, and a Conversari Leadership Workshop certification from Conversari Global in 2020.
