Dr. Gert W. Riegel

Dr. Gert W. Riegel is an accomplished executive in the field of facility management, currently serving as Executive Board Member and Group COO at Apleona Group since May 2017, with additional responsibilities as CEO of the Business Unit FM International Corporate Clients. Dr. Riegel has held several leadership positions, including Managing Director roles at Apleona HSG GmbH and Apleona HSG International GmbH from September 2017 to June 2019, and at Bilfinger HSG International Facility Management from June 2014 to August 2017. Previous experience encompasses Managing Director and SVP roles across various companies within the Bilfinger Group from 2004 to 2017. Dr. Riegel holds a Doctorate in Civil Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, completed in 2004, and an Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution, earned in 1999.
