Sean Wilkerson

Sean Wilkerson has extensive experience in information security and technology, currently serving as a Principal at Aplura, LLC, an information security engineering consultancy since May 2005. In addition, Sean has volunteered as a member of the security team for Shmoocon since December 2016, contributing to event preparation and ensuring attendee safety. Prior roles include Senior Information Security Engineer for a USAID contract at Open System Sciences, Web Systems Administrator at the Space Telescope Science Institute, and Operations Senior Systems Administrator at ARBROS, among others. Sean earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Maryland, completing studies from 1993 to 1998.
