Liezel du Toit

Liezel du Toit is an experienced executive currently serving as the Global Head of Product and Customer Experience and the Global Head of Products at APM Terminals since March 2023, while also holding a board member position at Frey. Prior to these roles, Liezel spent nearly 18 years at A.P. Moller - Maersk, where significant achievements included serving as Senior Director in various capacities, leading product innovation and transforming customer experience in the shipping industry. Key contributions encompassed the development of Maersk Spot, strategic pricing improvements, and the creation of customer-centric Ocean products. Liezel began a career in shipping as a Management Trainee at P&O Nedlloyd after earning a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Economics from the University of Cape Town and has furthered professional development through advanced programs in leadership and revenue management.
