Sunit Poddar

Sunit Poddar is a Senior Software Engineer at apna since October 2020, responsible for building job search functionalities and architecting a Circuit Breaker for distributed systems. Sunit also led the development of community-related migrations and various microservices. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Haptik, where Sunit developed an asynchronous communication mechanism and a utility tool for engineers. At Ithaka, Sunit served as a Jr. Backend Engineer, designing e-commerce microservices and an Automated Payment Allocation System. Early in the career, Sunit worked as an Android Developer at Mobibook Technologies, creating chat and media e-commerce applications. Sunit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering, completed in 2016.
