Ashwin Fisher

Ashwin Fisher is a highly experienced Chief Science & Technology Strategist at Apogee Engineering, LLC, since September 2021. Previously, Ashwin served as the Director of Optics and Photonics Research at Riverside Research, where contributions included advancements in biomedical optics and photoacoustic imaging. Before this role, Ashwin worked as a Research Scientist and Post Doctoral Research Fellow, focusing on photoacoustic methods and thermal therapy monitoring. Ashwin also holds a post-doctoral position at Boston University School of Engineering and completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, alongside a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras. Throughout the career, Ashwin developed several innovative imaging systems and techniques for the characterization of Nano-Electromechanical Systems (NEMS).
