Brent C. Jewell

Brent Jewell has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Brent started their career in 1996 as a Territory Sales Manager at Mead Corporation and later became an Area Sales Manager. Then, they worked at MWV as a Region Director before joining NewPage, where they held several positions, including Marketing Manager. At NewPage Corporation, Brent was VP of Sales Operations and General Manager. Brent also served as the Director of Motorsports Marketing and Director of Price Strategy.

In 2010, Brent joined Valspar as the VP and GM of different divisions, including North America Industrial Wood Coatings, Global Performance Coatings, and General Industrial Coatings Americas & North America Industrial Wood Coatings. After the acquisition of Valspar by Sherwin-Williams in 2017, Brent established their own company, SPEAR Advisors LLC, where they worked as the Owner and Principal.

Most recently, Brent Jewell joined Apogee Enterprises, Inc. in 2018 as the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Development, and in 2019, they became the President of Architectural Framing Systems.

Brent Jewell has an MBA, with Distinction, from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Brent also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University, where they majored in Marketing and minored in Decision Sciences. In addition, they have completed the Mergers & Acquisitions Executive Program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
