Imelda Donnelly

Chief Science Officer at Apogee Semiconductor

Imelda (Emily) has over 35 years of experience in the development of semiconductor process technologies. During her 29-year career at Texas Instruments, she worked in the Defense Group on improving radiation hardness and lowering 1/f noise in silicon readout ICs (ROICs) for infrared detectors.

Imelda has an extensive knowledge of digital and analog processes and was the manager of TI’s analog technology international transfer team, which was responsible for successfully transferring advanced analog processes to internal and external manufacturing sites.

Upon retiring from TI, she founded TallannQuest (now Apogee Semiconductor), providing consulting on technology issues and radiation hardening. Imelda holds a Master of Science in Electronic Materials and Devices from Greenwich University in London, England through a student co-op program with General Electric.

Imelda is the inventor or co-inventor of 6 issued US patents and author of 10 publications and conference presentations.
