Ranbir Hira has extensive work experience in the legal and financial sectors. Ranbir is currently the Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer for Direct Lending at Apogem Capital. Prior to this role, they worked as an Associate General Counsel at New York Life Insurance Company from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they were a Shareholder at Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson from 2013 to 2019. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Goldman Sachs. Ranbir began their career as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in 2006 and later worked as an Associate at Clifford Chance US LLP in 2005.
Ranbir Hira earned a J.D. degree from the University of Chicago Law School from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. degree in Philosophy, English Literature, and German Literature from Amherst College, which they attended from 1998 to 2000.
