Urszula Rutkowska has a diverse work experience. Urszula began working as a Research Assistant for the Western Jihadism Project in 2013. Later that year, they took on an Intern role at DCAF - Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance. In 2019, Urszula joined Apolitical as a Senior Content Designer, and went on to serve as a Content Designer, User Generated Content Lead, and Community Fellow. In 2020, they began working as a Slavery and Justice Digital Scholarship Proctor at the Center for Digital Scholarship, Brown University.
Urszula Rutkowska obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Brandeis University in 2015. Urszula then went on to pursue a Master of Philosophy in English Language and Literature from the University of Cambridge in 2016. Most recently, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy in English Language and Literature from Brown University in 2022. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Content Design London, UX Content Collective, and the Cogut Institute at Brown University.
