Tamara Anaya

Tamara Anaya has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to student financial aid and regulatory compliance. Tamara started their career in 1979 as a Financial Aid Advisor and Administrative Assistant at Devry Institute of Technology. From 1997 to 2007, they worked at Otterbein College and Otterbein University as a Director of Adult Continuing Studies Admission and Financial Aid. During this time, they managed the Admission and Financial Aid offices, developed marketing materials, and handled financial aid awards. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Consultant at ECG. In 2008, they joined Apollo Group where they held positions such as Regulatory Specialist-IPD, Regulatory Specialist, and Director of Student Financial Aid Regulatory. In these roles, they ensured Title IV compliance, audited financial aid files, provided regulatory support and training, and implemented policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

Tamara Anaya holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from DeVry University, which they obtained between 1994 and 1997. Tamara later pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting at the University of Phoenix from 2009 to 2011. Tamara completed their high school education at Paradise Valley High School from 1976 to 1979.
