Felix L. Nieves

Felix L. Nieves has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Felix L. is currently working as a Consultant & Advisor at Clara y Dorada LLC since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President Manufacturing Operations at Apollo Endosurgery since March 2015, where they oversaw manufacturing and supply chain functions and played a pivotal role in developing and launching medical devices.

Before joining Apollo Endosurgery, Felix worked at Medtronic from 2009 to 2015, initially as the Director Concurrent Engineering, where they optimized Global Concurrent Engineering operations and led M&A efforts. Felix L. also held the roles of Sr Engineering Manager and Sr Transfer/New Technology Manager during their tenure at Medtronic.

In 2008, Felix served as the Sr Transfer & New Technology Manager at Medtronic Spinal and Biologics. Prior to that, they worked at United States Surgical Corp, Tyco, in the field of engineering from 1993 to 2000.

Throughout their career, Felix has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of driving organizational growth and operational excellence through their strategic vision and expertise in the manufacturing and engineering fields.

Felix L. Nieves holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
