Jovan Sijan

Jovan Sijan has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Jovan is currently the CEO of Apollo Funding Partners, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the VP Acquisitions at Offerd, a Multifamily Acquisitions Firm based in Austin, Texas, from June 2021 to January 2022.

From 2019 to 2021, Jovan worked at GPB Capital, first as the Head of Asset Management and Business Operations, where they oversaw the company's business operations and portfolio performance. In this role, they developed an action plan that improved the business continuity for key portfolio companies. Jovan was later promoted to Managing Director, Asset Management, where they managed over $1.0 billion in assets and implemented long-term strategies to improve performance across the board.

Before their time at GPB Capital, Jovan worked at Ascendant Capital as the Chief Operating Officer from 2016 to 2018. There, they played a key role in aligning the company's operational strategy with its vision and mission, leading to profitable and sustainable growth. Jovan also served as a Managing Director, overseeing non-sales divisions and providing support to the sales team.

Jovan's experience also includes working as a Senior Asset Manager at Virtus Real Estate Capital from 2012 to 2014, where they revitalized 50 under-performing commercial properties within a year. Prior to that, they were the Head of Portfolio/General Manager at Confluence Property Management from 2011 to 2012, where they directed activities for assets owned by MPC Properties.

Additionally, Jovan gained additional experience from 1999 to 2011, working in various roles at different companies.

Jovan Sijan completed their Master's degree in Automotive Division from the University of Belgrade, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. After several years, they pursued further education and completed Post-Graduate Studies in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Automotive Engineering Technology, from the University of Belgrade from 2009 to 2011.
