Samuel Collard

Samuel Collard has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Samuel currently works at Apollo GraphQL as a Staff Software Engineer. Prior to this, Samuel worked at H-E-B where they held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer. During their time at H-E-B, they served as the tech lead for a team of 10 engineers and played a key role in delivering customer-facing features for the heb.com and MyHEB mobile apps. Samuel also focused on engineering interviewing and implemented a program to hire over 100 developers in a single year. Before joining H-E-B, Samuel worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, where they were part of the Developer Experience Team and played a significant role in the formation of a partner engagement team. Samuel also authored development standards for the new Search platform and collaborated with partner teams to extend its capabilities. Prior to their time at Amazon, Samuel had internships at Cisco Systems in 2011 and 2012, where they gained valuable experience in software engineering.

Samuel Collard earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University. Samuel attended the university from 2008 to 2012.
