Jon Tewksbury

Jon Tewksbury has a diverse work experience spanning over thirteen years, of which they have worked in various roles in companies such as Apollo.io, SwayDM, Autodesk, BuildingConnected, Codementor, Alliance Advisory & Securities, Inc., and Apple. Jon began their career as a Genius at Apple, where they provided technical solutions and customer support. Later, they worked as an Assistant Financial Advisor at Alliance Advisory & Securities, Inc. In BuildingConnected, where they started as a Software Engineer, they took on progressively challenging roles as Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Manager and played a key role in the company's growth before it was acquired by Autodesk. Jon also worked as an Instructor at Codementor and spent about half their time as a Staff Software Engineer, Senior Engineering Manager at Autodesk, advancing their team's technical abilities and leading significant problem resolution efforts. More recently, at SwayDM, they were a Principal Software Engineer and Frontend Architect. In their upcoming role as Director of Engineering, Marketing at Apollo.io, they will lead the engineering team while driving effective collaboration with other cross-functional teams.

Jon Tewksbury has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The Master's University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they studied at Westmont College with an undeclared major from 2005 to 2006. In 2014, Jon attended Hack Reactor to study Software Engineering. Jon continued their education in 2021 by obtaining a Machine Learning Engineer Career Track Certification from Springboard. Jon also has two additional certifications: Open Water Diver from SSI Scuba Schools International obtained in January 2021 and Deep Learning Nanodegree from Udacity obtained in June 2017.
