Alexander Merrill

Alexander Merrill has over 20 years of experience in the media and publishing industry. From 1995 to 1999, they served as a Senior Consultant at BTS, a global leader in building strategic alignment and execution through the use of business simulations. From 1999 to 2003, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Signeta Holdings, a venture-funded startup in the Specialty Advertising sector. From 2003 to 2008, they were the Finance Director at Primedia, where they reported to the CFO. In 2008, they founded Merrill Americas Media, LLC, a media and publishing industry consulting and investment vehicle. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Director of Corporate Business Development at Morris Media Network. From 2013 to 2014, they served as Publisher at Globe Pequot Press. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Skyhorse Publishing, Inc. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been the Publisher & Director of Sales at Apollo Publishers LLC.

Alexander Merrill attended Milton Academy from 1982 to 1986, Harvard University from 1986 to 1990 where they earned an AB Cum Laude in American History, and NYU Stern School of Business from 1993 to 1995 where they earned an MBA in Finance.
