Daniel Barkland is a seasoned marketing and revenue management professional with extensive experience in the travel industry. Currently serving as the Chief Brand & Marketing Officer at Apollo, part of DERTOUR Group since August 2018, Daniel has held multiple senior roles including Head of Marketing, Acting CMO, and Head of Nordic Revenue Management. Prior to this, Daniel was with Apollo Travel Group from August 2012 to August 2018 as Senior Revenue Manager, leading a team and successfully implementing new pricing and yield systems across Nordic markets. Daniel began career at Kuoni Scandinavia and Kuoni Travel Group, accumulating valuable experience in pricing and operations management. Daniel holds education credentials from IHM Business School and Frans Schartau Handelsinstitut.
