Deepak Kumar

Deepak Kumar has extensive experience in finance and commercial roles, starting in 2004 at Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited in financial planning and costing. Deepak then moved on to Nestlé as a Plant Finance and control manager in 2008, before becoming the Finance Controller at Whirlpool Corporation in 2009. Most recently, they served as the Head of Finance and Commercial at Apollo Tyres Ltd from 2013 onwards.

Deepak Kumar completed their Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2003. Deepak then pursued a part-time MBA specializing in Accounting and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, from 2016 to 2019. In 2023-2024, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, for a Postgraduate Certificate Programme for Emerging CFOs with a focus on Finance. Deepak also obtained various Leadership Insights certifications in 2022 from Skillsoft.
