Nandhini Saravanan

Nandhini Saravanan is a Materials Specialist at Apollo Tyres Ltd since October 2023, focusing on the pre-development and formulation of innovative raw materials for sustainable tyre applications. Prior experience includes a research internship at Apollo Tyres Ltd in early 2019, where Nandhini studied the effects of different accelerator proportions and silica-carbon black interactions on tyre tread compound properties. Previous roles include student trainee positions at Indian Rubber Products and the Rubber Training Institute. Nandhini holds a Master of Technology in Rubber Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (2020-2022), a Master's Degree Exchange Program in Rubber Technology from Technische Universität Dresden (2021-2022), and a Researcher degree in Elastomer and Surface Technology from the University of Twente (2022-2023). An academic background in Rubber and Plastics Technology was established with a Bachelor of Technology from Madras Institute of Technology (2015-2019).
