Silambuselvan Thangaraj is a seasoned professional in the tire industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of TBR Europe New Product Development at Apollo Tyres Ltd since September 2012. With a strong background in Truck Bus Radial tire development, Silambuselvan possesses significant expertise in product requirements, performance, regulations, and market trends specific to the European market. Previously, Silambuselvan held the position of Manager in the same department and began as a Scientist focused on TBR product design, specializing in tread patterns and construction design. Prior to Apollo Tyres, experience included a role at Endurance Technologies Ltd. as an Executive in casting product simulation, utilizing tools for quality improvements in metal casting. Academic qualifications include a Master of Technology in Manufacturing Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, along with a PGDTD in Tool Design from NTTF and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University.
