Saif Rashid

Saif Rashid serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Apon Bazaar since January 2023, leading an award-winning omni-channel fintech service aggregator that supports industrial workers in Bangladesh. With a diverse background, Saif has been a Fellow at Ashoka since August 2015 and has held the title of Social Entrepreneur of the Year at the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship since April 2014. Saif founded and managed Apon Wellbeing Ltd. from August 2016 to January 2023 and previously served as CEO of JITA Social Business Bangladesh Ltd. from January 2012 to March 2016. Saif's career began at CARE Bangladesh, where contributions spanned multiple roles focused on corporate engagement and rural development from December 2004 to December 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering from Carleton University and participation in several prestigious programs, enhancing expertise in social entrepreneurship and impact management.
