Välimäki Hannu

Hannu Välimäki started their work experience as a Software Engineer at Capitel Oy in 1990 and then became a Director at Teamware Group in 1992. Välimäki later served as a Senior Vice President at BasWare Oyj from 2000 to 2003, where they managed global product and service development. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a Business Development Director at Itella Corp., focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and IT strategy. Välimäki then joined Itella Information as a Technology Director, responsible for developing electronic services and portfolio management until 2011. In 2011, Välimäki became an Independent Consultant at Hannu Välimäki Consulting until 2013 when they took on the role of Development Manager at the City of Kerava. From 2013 to 2018, they served as the Programme Director of the Apotti Programme, a cooperative project aimed at improving social welfare and health care services. Välimäki is currently the CEO of Oy Apotti Ab since 2016.

Hannu Välimäki obtained an MBA degree in Strategic Management from Tampere University of Technology from 2002 to 2004.

Prior to that, they completed their MSc. degree in Information Technology from the University of Tampere from 1985 to 1988.

Välimäki also completed their Matriculation examination from Parkanon Lukio in the years 1981 to 1983.

In addition to their formal education, Hannu Välimäki obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2019.
