Audrey Taylor Gurkin is a seasoned marketing and development professional currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Development at UNC Health Appalachian since January 2022. Previously, Audrey held the position of Director of Marketing, Communication, and Engagement at Appalachian State University from September 2016 to January 2022. Audrey's experience also includes serving as the Office/Marketing Manager at Reed Orthodontics and various roles at Bank of America, ranging from Wealth Management Banker to Business Banker over a span of 15 years. Audrey holds a Master’s degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2020-2023) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies and Business Education from Appalachian State University.
