Chris Wood

Chris Wood is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in athletic administration and corporate partnerships. Currently serving as the Senior Deputy Athletic Director and Chief Revenue Officer at Appalachian State University since September 2024, Chris has previously held significant roles including Vice President for Development and Sponsorships at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame, and Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development at the United States Military Academy at West Point. With a rich background in sports management that includes positions at High Point University, Winston-Salem Dash, Carolina Panthers, and Northwestern Mutual, Chris has developed a strong expertise in revenue generation and organizational operations. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University, earned in 2007.
