Betsy Thompson

Betsy (Elizabeth) Thompson has notable experience as co-owner of Cellar XV Wine Market since December 2010 and has served as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy since June 2007, where chairing the Nominating Committee and contributing to the Marketing & Communications and Development Committees has been key. Betsy has been actively engaged as a political volunteer and activist since November 2004, focusing on environmental and women's issues at various government levels. Additionally, from September 2006 to January 2012, Betsy created, wrote, edited, and distributed The Community Dispatch, a monthly publication highlighting local events in Ridgefield, CT.
