Neera Singh Parihar

Neera Singh Parihar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies.

Starting in 1996, Neera worked as a Technical Executive at Ashima Ltd., where they were responsible for quality management of shirting fabric manufacturing and product development for major international and domestic retailers. Neera also served as an Internal Quality Auditor for ISO-9000.

In 2000, Neera joined SGS as a Lead Social Compliance Auditor. In this role, they audited major international retailers from the USA, Europe, and South America. Neera also executed quality inspection and certification for supplies to Red Cross and UNICEF from India, and implemented a quality improvement program for fabric manufacturing units in Northern India. Neera left the company in 2004.

Lastly, Neera has been associated with Apparel Training & Design Centre since 2006. Neera initially served as the Registrar & General Manager, where they coordinated skill development projects at the national level, implemented and monitored central/state initiatives for skill training, and oversaw the implementation of life and soft skills programs. In September 2021, they transitioned to the role of Director, focusing on vocational education for the apparel industry and national project management.

Neera Singh Parihar completed their Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology with a focus on Advance Woven Structure & Textile Testing from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in 1996. Neera then went on to pursue a Masters of Business Administration in Quality Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2014 to 2016.

In 2018, Neera Singh Parihar began their research scholar program at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Neera'sfield of study during this program is Supply Chain Operation Management and Sustainability.
