Harshit Kayan

Harshit Kayan has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Harshit began their career at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, where they worked as an Executive and later as an Assistant Manager in the Finance & Accounts department. Harshit then joined Thomas Cook as an Assistant Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis before being promoted to Manager in FP&A. Following this, they worked at Travelguru.com (a Yatra.com enterprise) in roles such as Strategic Planning & Analytics and Financial Planning & Analysis. Harshit then transitioned to Amazon, where they served as a Senior Financial Analyst in the FP&A - India Operations team and later as a Finance Manager in Category/Business Finance. Currently, they are working at Appario Retail Private Limited, a subsidiary of Frontizo Business Services, as the Group Finance Controller and also previously held the position of Head of Business Finance. In this role, they have been responsible for various finance controllership tasks, setting up finance processes, and scaling the business profitably.

Harshit Kayan attended G.D. Birla Memorial School from 1991 to 2001, where they completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a focus on commerce. Following their secondary education, they enrolled in Sydenham College from 2001 to 2004 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2002 to 2006, specializing in Finance, Tax, Audit, and Accounts.
