Brett Crowell

Brett Crowell has extensive work experience in software engineering roles. Brett started their career at RE/MAX Realty Plus as a Web Developer from January 2004 to August 2007. Brett then worked at Patricians Bakery as an Employee during the summer of 2007. From September 2004 to August 2008, they worked as an A/V Technician at Liverpool Community Church.

In 2008, they served as a Software Development Intern and Consultant at E-Rate Exchange, LLC. Brett then joined Bose Corporation as a Software Development Co-Op for their MEIS Applications from January 2009 to June 2009.

From January 2010 to June 2010, they worked at MIT as a Software Development Co-Op for AMPS Streaming Services. At Affinnova, Inc., they held two positions: Software Developer from June 2012 to November 2013, and Software Engineer from November 2013 to October 2014.

Their next role was at Nielsen, where they were a Software Engineer from October 2014 to May 2016. Brett contributed to various projects such as the company's flagship web-application, the "PowerScreener Reporting" initiative, and the Mobile Respondent User Interface team. Brett primarily used technologies such as Ember.js & Handlebars, D3, Groovy/Grails, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB.

Most recently, Brett has been working at Appcues since May 2016. Brett started as a Senior Software Engineer and is currently a Staff Software Engineer.

Brett Crowell obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In addition, they pursued further studies in Computer Science at the University at Buffalo for the academic year of 2010 to 2011, although they did not complete a specific degree at that institution.
